Jackie Wellman is the owner and operator of Courts of Rayleigh, an all-occasion floral business in Essex in the United Kingdom. In this role, Mr. Wellman oversees day-to-day operations, purchases flowers, and handles marketing efforts. Additionally, Ms. Wellman supervises Courts of Rayleigh’s team of experienced florists.

Ms. Wellman traces her longtime interest in flowers to her childhood. As a 10-year-old girl, she joined a floral group and went on to earn her technical degree in floristry from Constance Spry College in 1970. Seventeen years later, she opened Courts of Rayleigh.

An expert floral designer with over four decades of experience, Ms. Well personally assists in the creation of visually appealing arrangements for her company’s customers. Offering hand-designed, personally delivered arrangements and bouquets for all occasions, including weddings, anniversaries, funerals, and corporate events, she has received numerous accolades for her efforts including a recent best-dressed Christmas window award.

Ms. Wellman attributes her success in the floral business to her passion, and in the future she hopes to continue to grow her business and expand her client base. When she is not working, Ms Wellman volunteers her time with her local Rotary club. She also enjoys playing golf and spending time with her four grandchildren.
